-the vocal loop was ripped from an old vinyl about the history of Mount Greylock and the wooden flute was recorded with a sony micro-cassette recorder. the guitar, crows, and river were all recorded in the Mohawk Trail State Forest for the soul quest. during this time, I meditated for eight hours on a rock, overlooking the mountain tapestries of fog. I started the recorded before sitting, hoping to capture something. the crows to the Mohawk were considered messengers, appropriately. I remember there was a kind of bliss I felt looking through the mountain mirror, reflecting me and reflecting it. a brief second of awakening before returning back to the sway of my spine in the wind.

before laying back down my head to rest
