yato-god When you're walking through a forest, alone, lost in your thoughts, and the breeze taps you on the shoulder in a cold yet comfortabel manner... like a mixture of home and meeting that wary stranger... this is that... beautiful. Favorite track: the death of walter.

ancestor 04:03
plant the seed and echo through me your intangible laughter your roots will spread to crush bones into dust and dirt with this movement, you control the soil I am left with only a piece of heart as you tower over me with your branches for under you, this poison shade I am clenched beneath your spear I am clenched beneath your spear, impaled forced to wander now
2.
the night was gentle and still while all souls began to decay those words came so calm: “love moves just like the sea... ebbs and flows, but not through me” you sat quietly and I watched the tears drop like crushed hope floating down like wayward snow
3.
the call 04:27
josephine, did you hear what i mean? (don't shut me down) the silence echoes it reverberates off empty walls i can hear it clatter, i can hear it stare i know, i know, i know it's everywhere what should i do? i cannot hear you... oh josephine, are you even fucking there? (don't shut me down) "yes, i'm in a safe place" "no, i'm on not on anything at all" josephine, josephine, it was inside me when i called i can feel it's viscous thrall have you ever wondered what it's like to die? holding on to shadows as the only thing reminiscent of human in this room oh josephine, josephine, josephine, are you just an automated message machine? (don't shut me down...don't shut me down)
4.
as i traveled up the mountain range i once called home i remembered the way the flames danced up those trees igniting everything in a blaze of destruction the fire seemed to have illuminated the sky brighter than any star that night so much that the smoke inhaled the colors of space clouding everything above i remember the fire felt cold that night despite its natural element and i was flushed with the pale red of course flowing blood i remember the sound of your screams reaching out to the night sky that was engulfed in blackness tethered by dark clouds as you stood between me and the place we once called home
5.
silent sentinel may i sleep below your shade? shelter me from rain
6.
we stayed so long upon these tracks one could forget how much time passed between whispers whispers because we were too afraid to make bold statements if you sit long enough, you can feel the vibration of the movement that metal on metal scraping sound and the shriek of something heated but no train ever came you used to say, "it's probably just the rotors" or "maybe it's the brakes" i would jump up from the tracks every time i felt the vibration but the sound never moved me either "could be something hanging, like the muffler" still you never checked it became clear to me as i began to jump up from the tracks even from the sounds, the shrieks that you would never believe the train would come and so i will leave the tracks so that when the train finally meets you i am not there to witness it crush you
7.
can't hide a mountain not covered in trees can't climb the summit without fighting the breeze try to escape the feelings you face but the stones on the mountain expand all over the place can't strike a fire without something to burn it's all been inside you, when will you learn? hope lies in being with somebody near but you blocked them all out with all that you fear now it's gone... gone away... (gone...gone away) oh, where have you gone? (gone...gone away)
8.
the sun will rise when the morning's come don't worry now like a little yellow bear with a red-worn shirt you mustn't bother now they'll say you're wrong for being with the howling ones the wolves terrify them, but the mountain calls it calls your name

to return 06:01
through the woodland pines, the morning sang i closed my eyes and felt the chilly air i breathed in the scent of petrichor the smell only found out there i waited between those ancient stones i waited for the rain within my weary heart, i struggled to return knowing i may be consumed by them finding me at once, i was the bear that slept comfortably in the cave like many before me, i longed for the same though i took a long time to get here, the mountains may disagree i clenched the thought between my fists and met with the old ones that day after sinking into the comfort of this moss bed i set forth to the short-circuiting sky to hold onto this hope that i am finding within i danced the rest of the night on tomorrow's ashes
